Welcome to the CED-ICPI open curriculum for instruction and information related to the design and application of concrete segmental pavements. The curriculum’s goal is to provide landscape architecture students with technical and place-making instruction on concepts related to segmental concrete pavements. The objective is an open site that provides traditional and multimedia materials to educators and students for use as course supplements, and that encourages students to upload and publish completed work.
The structure of the site links self-guided presentations and quizzes, interactive animations, and a studio project library that spans concept to construction. Educators are free to use this site as a supplement to their existing curricula and to encourage their students to add to this living library by uploading their completed projects to the site. Students are encouraged to explore and interact with the site’s materials to become familiar with design and technical principles related to segmental concrete pavements. The site’s materials are tagged and searchable, and available to view online or download for later viewing.
